Reflecting its picturesque island setting and inspired by age-old Asian traditions, the Taamra Wellness SPA at Le Méridien Ile Maurice offers a range of spa treatments in a serene and elegant setting to improve well-being. Many treatments reflect ancient Ayurvedic practices and use the latest in spa technology.
Beyond a wide menu of services, the spa also incorporates a fully equipped gym, hydrotherapy and relaxation areas, a beauty and hair salon, and facilities for Reiki and yoga instruction. Rituals, some ancient and others more recently established, form the inspiration behind the spa's treatments and therapies and form an integral part of any visit to Le Méridien Ile Maurice.
All adult guests of the hotel have complimentary access to the spa facilities, including the Fitness Center as well as the sauna, steam room, and Jacuzzi. The spa provides group tours of the facilities each day in English at 11:30am and in French at 12:30pm.
The Fitness Center is open 24 hours and personal assistance is available during 7:30am until 7:30pm. Visitors are asked to wear clothing appropriate for a gym and sports shoes. The sauna, steam room, and Jacuzzi facilities open each morning at 10am and close at 7:30pm. As these facilities are unisex, bathing suits are considered mandatory.
Spa treatments take place between 8:30am and 7:30pm each day. To ensure availability, guests are encouraged to reserve treatments 24 hours in advance by calling (230) 204 3333.
