Le Meridien Ile Maurice offers the Chamarel Ballroom which in total is 550 square meters (25 L x 22 W x 10.54 H) and has a capacity of upto 550 people. It is the ideal venue for large & small meetings, incentives, weddings as well as team-building sessions.

It also has the ability to be divided into 2 seperate conference rooms called Chamarel 1 & Chamarel 2 respectively.

One of the largest on the island, the Chamarel Ballroom is ideal for both formal and informal events. We offer the welcome cocktail in our ocean-facing garden by the Bayview Bar or in the seaview Chamarel foyer. The Chamarel Ballroom will be used as the main venue for the dinner.  All hostesses will be in long dresses and waiters, waitresses and barmen will be wearing long tail suits and white gloves.

Our Ballroom can accomodate up to 400 persons per seated dinners, and offers other Facilities such as:

  • DJ
  • Stage
  • Dance Floor
  • Basic Sound System
  • Fully Air Conditioned
  • Free on Cost till 12:00am

We also have different seating arrangments available: Cocktail, Theatre, Classroom & U-Shape.
