Le Morne Brabant
Le Morne Brabant is a peninsula at the extreme south-western tip of Mauritius. It is highlighted by an eponymous single standing basaltic rock with a summit of over 500 meters above sea level resting on area of around 12 hectares. The presence of many caves and steep slopes, also coupled with a serene lagoon makes it a must see place to visit. High velocity gale makes it a favorite spot for kite flying enthusiasts. It was also added to the World Heritage List by UNESCO is 2008.
