Black River Gorges National Park

Located in the south-western part of Mauritius, this magnificent locale covers an area of over sixty square kilometers. It's known for its waterfalls and hiking trails, where one can spend an entire day in awe. In 2006, it was added to the World Heritage List of UNESCO for its high ecological value, as it harbors many species of endemic birds.
