What are the regular check-in and Check out timings?
Our guests can check in from 2:00 PM on day of arrival and latest check-out time on day of departure is 12:00 PM. We're happy to try and accommodate special requests. Please contact us in advance to inform us of an early arrival or late departure. Early check-in and late check-out cannot be guaranteed and additional fees apply.
What are the rates charged for early check-in and late check-out?
Early check-in and late check out charges are 80% of the room rate. Late check out is at 18:00 respectively.
What is the dress code for the hotel?
While swimming trunks, beach wear, and shorts are acceptable during the daytime around the hotel, the hotel requires guests to dress appropriately for dinner in the restaurants:
- For Gentlemen: Long pants, closed shoes, and t-shirts with a collar or shirts.
- For Ladies: Smart casual wear, including trousers, skirts, or dresses.
What are the entertainment programs offered in the evening at the hotel?
The Bayview Bar ( open from 21:00 till 01:30) host various spectacles and live music every night of the week. This includes the African show, Rage Band, live Jazz music, Tropical Show, Indian Show as well as the Cultural Mauritian show.
Do you have free activities in the SPA?
The fitness Centre, steam, sauna & Jacuzzi are accessible to all guests in the hotel and are free of charge. Also Yoga lessons are conducted thrice a week.
What is the price for babysitting?
Babysitting is payable at an hourly rate.
From 9:00 to 17:00 - MUR 225/hr + Transportation cost MUR 300
From 17:00 to 23:30 - MUR 325/hr + Transportation cost MUR 500
From 23:30 onwards - MUR 450/hr + Transportation cost MUR 700
What are the complimentary activities in the hotel?
The complimentary activities include snorkelling, water skiing, glass bottom boat, aqua gym ( aerobic exercises in the swimming pool with a trainer) and beach soccer/volleyball. For more info, do visit " Features & Activities"

What type of activities do you have in the Kids Club?
The Penguin Club hosts Movie nights, Crab hunting adventures, disco evening, glass bottom, treasure hunt, bingo night, talent show, snorkeling, playstation night and face painting for children.
What are the main difference between Nirvana and Main building?
Guests staying at the Nirvana section have access to a private Beach Area and a private outdoor heated pool. Additionally, they recieve a complimentary daily fruit plate, in-room breakfast, tea/coffee/soft drinks free of charge, canape in the exclusive luxury lounge and a daily complimentary sunset cocktail. The Nirvana Section is exclusive to adults only. Minimum age is 16+.
What are the different activities we can do in GRAND BAIE?
Grand Baie, 10.0 km / 6.2 miles, which is 15 minutes drive from Le Meridien Ile Maurice, offers intimate art galleries and a wide variety of boutique clothing and fascinating souvenir shops and restaurants. Click Grand Baie for more info.
What are the specials/unique activities in the North?
Besides Grand Baie, the North is also home to two of the most beautiful beaches of the island named Mont Choisy & Trou aux Biches. Other attractions include the Pamplemousses Royal Botanical Gardens, l'Aventure du sucre and Cap Malheureux. For more info, click here.
Where is the nearest Golf Course located?
The nearest Golf Course is located on the East of the island named "The Link." Transfers can be provided from Le Meridien Ile Maurice but are chargeable.
